Matter

This serie declines the concept of "MATTER" with several points of view:

the scientific discoveries about the infinitely small ans the infinitely great.
I'm more interested by the atmosphere created with the painting rather than by the image in itself. The colors' choices are inspired by the subject - its life and internal movements - and are one of its fundamental parts.
the use of paintings as a matter, which means that the composition may change during the creating process. I focus my attention on chiaroscuro, full and empty spaces, the symbolic dimension of colors, the different stages and diagonals and texture. The painting is the result of a movement and has its own entropy.
